FileTransfer.com offers two account types: Trial Account, Full Account


What is a Trial Account?
Trial Accounts give users 2 free weeks to use File Transfer. Trial Account users are allocated 2Gb of server storage space and 5Gb of transfer bandwidth. Trial Account users can: upload/download files, store files, transfer files, share files with and receive files from other users. Trial Account users can convert to a paying Full Account user status at any time during their trial period.

What is Full Account?
Full Accounts start with 10Gb of server storage space and 20Gb of transfer bandwidth for $5 per month. Full Account users can upload files to any FileTransfer.com server for storage. Once files are uploaded, Full Account users can transfer files to any other File Transfer server globally for file storage or to share files with others. Files can be shared with any Trial Account or Full Account user. Full Account users can also receive files from both Full and Trial Account users.

Can I add more server storage space or transfer bandwidth to my Full Account?
Of course! You have the flexibility to customize your account to fit your personal needs and make adjustments to your account as your needs change. You can add additional server storage space and transfer bandwidth during your initial Full Account sign up or at any time on a pro rated basis after your initial sign up process.


If you want to add additional storage space or transfer bandwidth after the initial sign up for your full account, click on the fnancial page in the My Account section accessible after logging in to your File Transfer account and follow the instructions.

You mean I can upload/download, store and transfer files of "unlimited size?"
Yes, you no longer need to hassle with sending large email attachments, sending large files as multiple email attachments or mess with accessing remote FTP sites.  File Transfer allows you to upload files of more than 2Tb to our platform for file storage or to transfer files to other users.  If your file upload will exceed 2Tb, please contact us directly in advance so that we can ensure a smooth experience.

What happens when I have a lot of files stored in FileTransfer and decide to stop paying the base fee?
Your account will stay open and all logs and information will be retained and are accessible by you. But when a non-paying full user referred to as a Free User does not have any storage or transfer allowance and therefore, no files can be stored. Free users can send files to Full users and can also download files shared to them by Full users.
